This year the eighth edition of the Summer Guitar Workshop & Competition will take place in Krzyżowa. Just like in the previous years next to the most prominent virtuosi and the classical guitar teachers (a classical guitar is invariably the main festival´s profile) our guests will be celebrities from other fields of music and art, not only associated with the guitar.
There will be classical guitar classes; jazz and fingerstyle guitar workshop; flamenco guitar and dance; acoustic, electric. and bass guitar; guitar orchestra as well as painting exhibition, lectures, concerts and Tai Chi Chuan classes... - lecturers.

The host of The Summer Guitar Workshop & Competition is International House of Youth Meeting in Krzyżowa (Międzynarodowy Dom Spotkań Młodzieży). An impressive palatial complex in Krzyżowa - the previous premises of the von Moltke noble family - today is a modern and highly developed conference centre with exclusive night lodgings, a complex of fully equipped seminar rooms, a concert hall and a canteen. There is also the gym, sauna, table tennis equipment, billiard and football court (football matches being the traditional part of the course) available for the IHYM guests.
